With a philosophical commitment to taking the long view, Scott is well-suited for his role overseeing portfolio management for the firm and meeting with clients during performance reviews. Additionally, Scott chairs Truepoint’s Investment Committee. “I read a lot of financial news and analysis to stay current, but I try not to become inundated with the short-term effects of the daily news.”
Scott earned a bachelor’s degree in finance, with a minor in economics, from Montana State University. He holds both the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designations, and is a member of the CFA Society of Cincinnati and the CAIA Association.
Outside of work, Scott serves as treasurer on the board of the Great Parks Foundation and on the board of the CFA Society of Cincinnati, where he leads educational initiatives for CFA candidates. He enjoys running, skiing and all things outdoors. He and his wife are the proud parents of a young daughter.
